CCF Medical and Dental Mission

Health is usually the most expensive thing on a family's budget list, especially to those falling below the poverty line. So medical and dental missions like this organized by CCF (Christ's Commission Fellowship) Care to Connect, are already a huge relief for these people where they could get free medicine, dental and optical services. Plus, it's also a very good way to make them feel God's presence. This form of help is like God's extending hand resting on their shoulder reminding them that He is taking care of them.

It seems like with each patient in the line, the dental cases keep getting worse and some patients had to get a lot of teeth pulled and in some cases, oral infection have already spread. Then I can't help but think of how much the patients have saved for their medical bills that could have cost more than a thousand pesos. At the same time, it is also nice to think that they could sleep more peacefully that night, knowing they have one less thing to worry about. One less thing that could have caused them multiple complications to their health in the long run.
